Pune: RedBird Flight Training Academy Conducts Intensive Safety Audits and Technical Training for Aviation Staff
Baramati, 29th May 2026: RedBird Flight Training Academy has announced a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening safety, operational standards, and training quality across its aviation training operations.
The academy, which describes itself as one of India’s leading flying training organisations, said it has undertaken leadership changes as part of its continued focus on safety and operational excellence. The organisation has appointed a new Chief Instructor and a senior aviation professional as Safety Manager to further enhance its safety management framework.
According to the academy, the measures are intended to reinforce a proactive approach towards safety, regulatory compliance, operational discipline, and continuous improvement in flying training activities.

As part of its ongoing safety initiatives, the academy has been conducting mass safety briefings and maintaining emphasis on adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). It has also been carrying out detailed pre-flight and post-flight briefings and debriefings for trainees and staff.
The organisation said regular internal quality audits in both maintenance and operations are being conducted to ensure compliance with aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements.
The academy has also intensified technical and operational training programmes. Recently, on-site training sessions were conducted by original equipment manufacturer (OEM) experts from Tecnam and specialists from Rotax Engines, providing technical training to engineers and technicians.
Capt. Karan Mann, Founder and President of the academy, said the organisation remains committed to building a strong and safety-oriented flying training ecosystem through continuous guidance and operational support.

The academy’s largest operational base is located in Baramati, where several trainee pilots are currently undergoing training. The organisation stated that its training environment across all operational bases is focused on preparing aspiring pilots for professional aviation careers while maintaining safety standards.
