Pune-Kazipet Express to Get New Train Numbers From January 1, 2027

Pune, 30th October 2026: The Pune-Kazipet Express will operate with revised train numbers from January 1, 2027, as Central Railway reclassifies the service from Superfast to Non-Superfast under the revised train numbering system.

Accordingly, the Pune-Kazipet Express will operate as train number 11437, replacing its existing number 22151. The return service, Kazipet-Pune Express, will be renumbered 11438, replacing the existing number 22152.

The change is part of Central Railway’s decision to revise the operational status and train numbers of selected services in accordance with Railway Board guidelines.

Both services will operate as Non-Superfast trains from January 1, 2027. Passengers travelling between Pune and Kazipet have been advised to take note of the revised train numbers.
