New York, 30th July 2021: July Steve Jobs will always be known as the co-founder of many people’s favorite technology company. However, very few people know that the technology and entrepreneurial genius actually applied for the job before his Apple days. A living proof of this was recently auctioned for $3,43,00 i.e. Rs 2.5 crore.

Steve Jobs applied for a job in 1973. Jobs was only 18 at the time. It is claimed that this is the only job application in his life that he ever filled.

Of course, there were bigger things waiting for Jobs. Although a handwritten application by a young jobseeker is a shining example at the time we all look for our first source of income. Jobs mentions having a driving license in the application but no phone number.

The souvenirs have gone to auction three times before. Each time the price has increased. The job application in March was sold for GBP 162,000 i.e. Rs 1.7 crore. It first went up for auction with Bonhams in New York in 2017.
