Academic Leadership programme facilitated by Dr. Gururaj Karajagi for government school teachers from Bangalore and Tumkur .

Bangalore, July 24th 2019: Makkala Jagriti founded in 2003, with a vision of empowering children and youth, from marginalized communities through a holistic approach of learning, conducted an Academic Leadership Programme in collaboration with the Department of Education, Government of Karnataka and Academy of Creative Learning at United Theological College, Benson Town, Bangalore. The programme was facilitated by Dr. Gururaj Karajagi, a pioneer in the field of education and creativity,  addressing the importance of  academic leadership  and innovation in the school system.

Dr. Gururaj Karajagi: “Academic Leadership differs because , it is not just guiding , it is performing as well. A very interesting strategy an academic leader has to do,  he has to sit in his chamber, but be felt by everybody outside.  

Ms. Thanuja A.R,  Programme Manager, Makkala Jagriti: “ We were thrilled to have Dr. Gururaj Karajagi from ACT addressing our HMs from various govt schools that we work with. A strong leadership in schools will ensure a conducive environment for growth of teachers and students. Today’s programme aimed at invigorating leadership skills in all the participants.
