Actress Sonali Kulkarni’s Father Attacked With Knife At Home In Nigdi

Pune, 25th May 2021: ‘Natrang’ fame actress Sonali Kulkarni’s father was attacked with a knife today at their house in Nigdi. The attacker is suspected to be a fan of the actress.

According to Pimpri Chinchwad police, the incident took place around 7 am in Sector 25 of Nigdi Pradhikaran area of Pimpri-Chinchwad. The accused Ajay Shegte suddenly came to their house and attacked Manohar Kulkarni (63) with a knife. He sustained minor injuries in the scuffle.

As soon as the residents of Kulkarni’s building came to know about this, they caught Ajay. Police then rushed to the spot and arrested him. Ajay confessed to being a fan of Sonali Kulkarni.

Kulkarni has lodged a complaint with the police. During the investigation, the police found a fake pistol and a knife in the possession of the accused. Nigdi police station officials are further investigating the case.

Sonali Kulkarni recently got married in Dubai and is staying there.
