Adani Group’s Wealth Increased By 17 Times In The Last Five Years

Mumbai, 31st August 2022: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group is now the third largest billionaire in the world. Due to the shares of his companies listed on the stock exchange, Adani’s wealth has jumped 17 times in the last five years.

 

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Gautam Adani had a net worth of $8.39 billion as of September 9, 2017, and is now number three on the list of billionaires in the world with a total of $143 billion. In five years, his assets grew 17 times.

 

The price of one share of Adani Enterprises as of 1st September 2017 was just Rs 136.60. On this Tuesday i.e. 30 August 2022, it closed at Rs 3,192.60.

 

Adani Power was at Rs 32.35, on 1st September 2017. It closed at Rs 413.95 on Tuesday.

 

The price of a share of Adani Green as on 22 June 2018 was only Rs 29.45. On Tuesday it closed at Rs 2,447.10

 

Adani Port’s share price stood at Rs 394.90 on 1st September 2017 and closed at Rs 840 on 30th August 2022. It has jumped over 112 per cent during this period.

 

The share price of Adani Total Gas closed at Rs 359.95 on January 15, 2021. On Tuesday, it reached Rs 3,750.

 

Shares of Adani Transmission which closed at Rs 127.70 on September 1, 2017, closed at Rs 3,979 on August 30, 2022.

 

Adani Wilmar, the seventh company of the Adani Group, has now reached Rs 693 from a low of Rs 227. However, its 52-week high is Rs 878.
