Akshaya Tritiya Brings Rs 1.20 Crore Revenue from Property Purchases in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad
Pimpri, 23rd April 2023: On Akshaya Tritiya, many citizens choose to register property purchases and sales. Despite the government holiday on Saturday (22nd April), five registry offices in Pune were open.
These offices, which included Siddhi Tower in Dapodi, Haveli No. 17 and Haveli No. 25, Yugai Mangal Hall in Erandwane at Haveli No. 22 and Haveli No. 21, and the Government Photo Registration Office in Haveli No. 23, received about 125 drafts for registration and generated a revenue of Rs 1.20 crore.
The joint sub-registrar offices were open on government holidays as per citizens’ demand. The Registration and Stamp Duty Department confirmed the number of drafts registered and revenue generated on Akshaya Tritiya.
