Ali Daruwala Honored with Lata Mangeshkar Award 2024

Pune, 28th December 2024: BJP spokesperson Ali Daruwala was conferred with the prestigious Lata Mangeshkar Award 2024 by the My Home India organization. The award was presented by Madhuri Misal, Maharashtra’s Minister for Revenue, Medha Kulkarni, Member of Parliament, and Sunil Deodhar, the founder of My Home India.
The felicitation took place during the event ‘Dil To Hai Dil’, organized to pay tribute to the 124th birth anniversary of Deenanath Mangeshkar, the legendary father of Lata Mangeshkar. The event, held at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, drew a crowd of nearly 3,000 attendees, including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists.
Ali Daruwala, a prominent public figure, has made significant contributions in various capacities. In addition to being the spokesperson for the All India Petrol Dealers Association (New Delhi) and the BJP, he was recently appointed as the National Advisor to the National Commission for Minorities. Daruwala also serves as a Senate Member of P.A. Inamdar University, Pune.
The ‘Dil To Hai Dil’ event celebrated the legacy of Deenanath Mangeshkar and his profound influence on Indian music and culture. The organizers highlighted Daruwala’s contributions to public service and his efforts in fostering unity and development, which align with the values espoused by the Mangeshkar family.
