Pune, 18th September 2024: Yesterday, on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi, which marks the end of Ganeshotsav—the festival of Shri Ganesha celebrated nationwide—Pune, with its historic roots in public Ganesh Mandals dating back to the pre-independence era, saw a vibrant celebration. The city has a rich cultural heritage Ganeshotsav and continues to celebrate it with great enthusiasm. There are five renowned Manache Ganpatis and five other famous public Ganesh Mandals.
The details for the immersion processions of the five Manache Ganpatis are as follows:
– Manacha Pahila, Kasba Ganpati: The immersion procession began yesterday at 10:15 AM near the Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak Statue in Mandai. The route was via Laxmi Road, and the idol was immersed at Nateshwar Ghat at 4:35 PM.
– Manacha Dusra, Tambdi Jogeshwari Ganpati: The immersion procession started at 11:17 AM yesterday near the Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak Statue in Mandai. The route was via Laxmi Road, and the idol was immersed at Nateshwar Ghat at 5:10 PM.
– Manacha Tisra, Guruji Talim Ganpati: The immersion procession commenced at 12:09 PM yesterday at the Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak Statue in Mandai. The route was via Laxmi Road, and the idol was immersed at Nateshwar Ghat at around 6:45 PM.
– Manacha Chautha, Tulsibaug Ganpati: The immersion procession started at 1:21 PM yesterday at the Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak Statue in Mandai. The route was via Laxmi Road, and the idol was immersed at Panchaleshwar Ghat at around 7:14 PM.
– Manacha Pachva, Kesari Wada Ganpati: The immersion procession began at 2:28 PM yesterday at the Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak Statue in Mandai. The route was via Laxmi Road, and the idol was immersed at Panchaleshwar Ghat at around 7:38 PM.

– Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati: The immersion procession started at 3:51 PM yesterday at Belbag Chowk in Budhwar Peth. The route was via Laxmi Road, and the idol was immersed at Panchaleshwar Ghat at around 8:56 PM.
– Hutatma Babu Genu Ganpati: The immersion procession started at 1:14 AM today at Belbag Chowk in Budhwar Peth. The route was via Laxmi Road, and the idol was immersed at Nateshwar Ghat at around 6:15 AM.
– Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati: The immersion procession started at 3:10 AM today at Belbag Chowk in Budhwar Peth. The route was via Laxmi Road, and the idol was immersed at Panchaleshwar Ghat at around 8:06 AM.
