Are You Boarding Direct Flight From Foreign Airport To Pune? Then Read This

Pune, August 14, 2020: If you are boarding a direct flight from a foreign airport to Pune, then read the following guidelines:

• Download and install the Aarogya Setu app on your mobile phone before boarding the flight. Always keep it running for best results. The passengers with any symptoms of the disease are advised not to board the flight. 

• All international passengers are required to fill up self-declaration form available at http://newdelhiairport.in with correct and complete information. This form is mandatory and should be filled anytime before boarding. 

• You will receive an acknowledgement by email. This acknowledgement should be shown to APHO on arrival at Pune before proceeding for immigration.

• The Government of Maharashtra has stipulated 7 days institutional quarantine followed by 7 days home quarantine for all international passengers landing directly at Pune. The cost for such quarantine is to be borne by the passenger.

• The exemption from 7 days institutional quarantine is available for pregnant woman, parents with children below 10 years, passengers suffering from a serious illness, passengers with death in the family, and passengers having negative RT-PCR test report. 

• Such passengers will be allowed 14 days home quarantine instead of 7 days institutional quarantine followed by 7 days home quarantine. 

• To apply for exemption from institutional quarantine please visit http://newdelhiairport.in and fill up the online application form with correct information and attach documents in support of your exemption category. This exemption application must be submitted at least 72 hours before departure. Only the RTPCR test taken within 92 hours before departure shall be valid.

• You will receive an acknowledgement email with a unique reference number along with a copy of the submitted form. You will also be informed about acceptance or rejection of your request for exemption by email. After landing at Pune please show this acknowledgement to the APHO.
