Maharashtra COVID report: 12,608 new cases, 364 deaths today
Mumbai, Aug 14, 2020: A total of 10,484 patients were discharged and 12,608 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 2621 new cases were reported in Pune today. Today, 364 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.39%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 5,72,734 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 4,01442 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.39%. As of today, there are 1,51,555 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 70.09% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.39%. Currently, 10,32,105 people are in home quarantine and 37,386 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 30,45,085 laboratory samples, 5,72,734 have been tested positive (18.8%) for COVID-19 until today.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 2,461,190 across the country. Out of this, 1,751,555 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 48,040 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 661,595 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
