ATS Seize Vehicle Used By Suspected Terrorists Arrested From Pune, Weapons Also Recovered
Pune 5th August 2023: Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) team has seized a car used by the suspected terrorists arrested from Pune. The car which was used by the accused to travel in and outside the city was seized from Kondhwa on Saturday, sources have confirmed. The investigation team has also found some weapons inside the car.
The ATS team had taken the arrested accused to Kondhwa for investigation in the case today. It may be noted that the ATS team had arrested accused Mohammad Imran Mohammad Yunus Khan (23) and Mohammad Yunus Mohammad Yakub Saki ((24) from Kothrud. It was revealed that they had conducted blasts at the forests in Pune, Satara and Kolhapur and they were planning to plant bombs.
The investigation team has also recovered explosives and around 500 GB of data from their possession. During the investigation, three more accused have been arrested in the case.
