Bajaj Allianz Life launches micro-insurance policy Bima Dhan Suraksha Yojana
Pune, 7th January, 2015: Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, one of the leading private life insurers, has launched micro term insurance plan Bajaj Allianz Bima Dhan Suraksha Yojana with return of premium option.
Targeted at the small income groups in rural parts of the country, minimum premium of Bima Dhan Suraksha Yojana is capped at Rs 1500 annually or Rs 200 monthly. For a longer policy term of maximum 10 years, a person can get a protection cover (Sum Assured) of up to 35 times of the annual premium if he or she opts for regular premium before the age of 35 years.
Bima Dhan Suraksha Yojana can be bought at the age of 18 and above up to 60 years. The plan has three policy terms of 5, 7 and 10 years. Bima Dhan Suraksha Yojana can also be bought with a single premium option, where minimum and maximum premiums are capped at Rs 5000 and Rs 25000 respectively. In case of single premium, a person can get a cover of up to 7 times of the single premium if the policy term is 10 years and bought before the age of 35 years.
The plan assures a Death Benefit as higher of sum assured or 105 times of the total premiums paid or minimum guaranteed sum assured on maturity. For single premium policies, while other types of Death Benefit remain same, the person will get either 110% or 125% of the single premium paid depending on the age at entry.
