Bank of Maharashtra partners with Airpay to provide mPOS card acceptance and banking solution for its clients

Mumbai, July 04, 2016:  Bank of Maharashtra has entered into a new partnership in the field of mobile point of sales (mPOS) with Airpay. The collaboration will expand Bank of Maharashtra’s offering to incorporate card acceptance for its set of existing and new customers.

This holistic payment solution enables businesses to utilize this Point-of-Sale (POS) device and drive transaction volumes by letting consumers use card-based payment instruments. This will empower merchants to customize individual needs such as home delivery, insurance, education institutes, retailing and e-tailing, radio taxis, govt. offices, ticketing etc. The associated card reader has an innovative design, is equipped with a LCD display and tactile response pin pad for pin entry thus making it easy to use. It accepts a variety of card payments, including all kinds of chip and magnetic stripe cards and is fully compliant with RBI, EMV and PCI standards.

A key feature for large merchants using MPOS solutions is the prebuilt-connectors that facilitate integration with critical backend IT systems – CRM, inventory, billing and loyalty – allowing merchants to better manage their business.
