Bar Council of India Postpones AIBE 18 Exam to December 10; Extends Registration Deadline
New Delhi, 9th November 2023: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has once again rescheduled the 18th edition of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE 18), announcing a new date for the examination on 10 December. This change follows a notification issued by the Council on Tuesday, 7 November 2023, and the admit cards for eligible candidates who have applied to sit for the examination will be issued between 1 and 5 December 2023.
Initially planned for 26 November and later rescheduled for 3 December the AIBE 18 has been further delayed accommodating the new examination date.
Moreover, the BCI has also extended the registration deadline for AIBE 18. Candidates interested in taking the examination can now register up to 16 November, with the last date for fee payment set as 17 November. The registration fee stands at Rs 3250, while SC and ST candidates are charged a reduced fee of Rs 2500.
For those who register within the specified timeframe, a window for error correction or application modifications will be available until November 19. The registration process for the All India Bar Examination 2023 commenced on August 16, and the initial deadline was extended first to 9 October and then to 4 November.
Prospective candidates are advised to take note of these revised dates and ensure their registrations and payments are completed within the stipulated timeline to avoid any inconvenience in the application process for the AIBE 18 examination.
