BPCL Hosts 43rd PSPB Inter-Unit Golf Tournament in Pune
Pune, 4th April 2023: On April 5th and 6th, 2023, BPCL will host the 43rd Annual PSPB Inter-Unit Golf Tournament at the Poona Club Golf Course in Pune, where India’s finest amateur golfers, including Shubhankar Sen, Shaurya Bhattacharya, Milind Soni, Arjun Singh Bhatia, Jasjeet Singh, Gagan Verma, Simarjeet Singh, Vinamra Anand, and Sukhman Singh, will compete against each other. The event, under the aegis of the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB), will feature teams from various oil PSUs, including HPCL, GAIL, IOCL, OIL, EIL, ONGC, CPCL, and BPCL.
The inauguration of the tournament will be graced by Sanjay Khanna, Director (Refineries) of BPCL, as the chief guest. On April 6th, 2023, the closing ceremony of the tournament will take place, which will include the distribution of prizes.
Over the past four decades, PSPB, in collaboration with its member organizations, has organized various sports events to promote and develop sports in India while bringing honor and glory to the country in the international sporting arena. The tournament provides a platform for amateur golfers to showcase their talents and compete against the best in the country.
