“CAA Will Be Implemented After The End Of Corona Wave,” Says Amit Shah In Bengal Rally

Siliguri, 5th May 2022: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that as soon as the wave of Covid-19 ends, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) will be implemented. He made these statements while addressing a rally in Siliguri, West Bengal. Calling out at the West Bengal Chief Minister, Amit Shah said that TMC is spreading rumours about CAA that it will not be implemented on the ground.

 

 

 

Amit Shah said, “TMC is spreading rumours about CAA that it will not be implemented on the ground, but I would like to say that we will implement the CAA on the ground, as soon as the wave of Covid ends…Mamata didi wants infiltration. CAA was reality, is reality and is going to be reality.”

 

 

 

Amit Shah further said that the Chief Minister of West Bengal always misleads the Gorkha people. Only the BJP took care of their interests. He said, “I want to thank the people of Bengal that they helped in increasing the number of BJP MLAs in the assembly from three to 77. We will continue to fight against TMC’s atrocities.”

 

 

 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in West Bengal on Thursday for his two-day visit. This is the first time since the assembly elections held in the state in 2021 that the Union Home Minister visited West Bengal. Amit Shah had reached Kolkata airport on Thursday morning, where he was received by senior BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari and Union Minister of State for Home Nishith Pramanik and BJP State Unit Chief Sukanta Majumdar.
