CBSE Class 10 Results Out, Pass Percentage Sees Marginal Rise
New Delhi, 15th April 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday declared the Class 10 board examination results for 2026, ending the wait for over 25 lakh students across the country.
The results were released in the afternoon, and students can access their scorecards through official websites, as well as via DigiLocker and the UMANG app.
The overall pass percentage this year stands at 93.70%, reflecting a marginal increase from last year’s 93.66%.
Girls have once again outperformed boys, continuing a consistent trend observed in CBSE results over the years.
Among institutions, Kendriya Vidyalayas recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.57%, followed closely by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, reinforcing their strong academic track record.
Students can download their digital marksheets using their roll number, school number, and admit card ID. In view of heavy traffic on official websites, CBSE has enabled alternative access through DigiLocker and the UMANG app to ensure smoother retrieval.
Alongside the results, CBSE has introduced a structured post-result review process. Students can first apply for a photocopy of their answer sheets, followed by verification of marks, and subsequently opt for re-evaluation if required.
