CBSE Term 2 Sample Paper for class 10 and 12 soon, will be able to download like this with change in pattern
New Delhi, 30th December 2021: CBSE is planning to upload the Term 2 Sample Papers in January 2022 with a major change. Due to Omicron, the Director of the Department of Education, Dr. Joseph Emmanuel has directed the CBSE committee to focus on two types of paper patterns.
1. Pattern of Sample Papers
Due to the Omicron threat in India, two types of sample papers are being prepared for all subjects of Term 2 – 100% Subjective and 100% Objective sample paper.
The officials in the exam team of CBSE (who is given the task of approving the sample papers before they are uploaded) have suggested that Term 2 Subjective Sample Papers (if issued earlier) have only 2-5 marks. There will be questions (without any 1 mark).
For Term 2 preparation, CBSE in association with Educart has provided a question bank for class 10 and class 12 to cover Term 2 NCERT-centric objective and subjective questions. These books will help students to prepare effectively for NCERT as well as Term 2.
However, in light of the night curfew in various states, the CBSE committee will be releasing both Objective and Subjective sample papers for Term 2 soon on its academic website.
Our sources in the exam team of CBSE (who is given the task of approving the sample papers before they are uploaded) have suggested that Term 2 Subjective Sample Papers (if issued earlier) have only 2-5 marks. There will be questions (without any 1 mark).
2. New Types of Questions in Term 2 Sample Papers
CBSE has exclusively partnered with the British Council and introduced a Competency-Based Education (CBE) concept. (watch the video below)
Term 2 board paper will have new type of questions to assess critical thinking and conceptual clarity. Such questions will be asked through Objective and Subjective questions of the upcoming Term 2 Sample Paper.
To help students and teachers in this transition, a comprehensive resource bank of such questions has been provided through Educart, which will act as a guide in preparing for the new Term 2 Pattern Assessment of the Board.
CBE 2021-22 has been a topic of discussion since the beginning of the session and it is clear from the CBSE Notification Circular 108 (dated 2nd December 2021) and the new type of questions in Term 1 Sample Papers that it is now a replacement for Term 2 question paper. will be an important aspect.
CBSE has also organized an Indian training program for teachers of classes 9-12 to give them a proper understanding of CBE and how to better prepare students for Term 2 (with the help of the above available resource bank ) Will be explained.
Now, students have to consider both objective and subjective questions for Term 2 board exam, and focus on the methods being taught by the teachers in the classroom. 100% compliance to these CBSE changes no matter what the COVID situation
