CET exam to be held for admission at the Pre- Indian Administrative Service Training Center

Pune, November 30, 2020: The state government has decided to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) online to streamline the admission process at the Pre-Indian Administrative Service Training Center( PITC). This will enable the simultaneous admission process in all the six training centres in the state.

The Pre- Indian Administrative Service Training Center (PITC) is located in Mumbai, Nagpur, Amravati, Nashik, Aurangabad and Kolhapur. A fee of Rs.500/ – will be charged for general category candidates and Rs.250/ – will be charged for backward category candidates.

On the basis of written exams and interviews, the merit list will be made and accordingly candidates will be selected. The reservation for admission will be applicable and a panel will be formed by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission to interview the candidates for various posts.

Appointment of Nodal Officer

For all the activities from fixing the schedule of the admission process to the final selection of candidates i.e. publishing advertisement, deciding minimum eligibility marks for the interview, finalising marks of the written test, giving marks on the interview test, deciding examination centre, determining the number of candidates for interview considering admission seats, the Director of the State Administrative Vocational Education Institute has been appointed as the nodal officer to prepare the panel for the interview.
