Pune, November 29, 2020: “The issue of Maratha reservation has been pending for the last several years. But no concrete decision has been taken on the reservation yet. No government has taken a firm decision on this. This has affected millions of students. Against this backdrop, a decision has been taken in the state-level meeting of Maratha Kranti Morcha that a ‘Dhadak Morcha’ will be held on December 8 at Vidhan Bhavan”, Coordinator of Maratha Kranti Morcha Rajendra Kondhare informed about this in a press conference held in Pune.

“The state is holding a convention in Mumbai and many issues have been discussed in that background. As a part of this, students of Maratha community were not recruited in MSEDCL. A protest will be held on December 1 and 2 in front of the office of the MSEDCL Superintending Engineers in the state. After that, on December 8, everyone will take out a ‘Dhadak Morcha’ from the vehicle at Vidhan Bhavan. But if the convention is held at some point, the next direction will be decided soon, ”said Kondhare.

“The issue of the Maratha community in the state has been pending for many years. This has cost many generations. Therefore, if the important leaders of the state Sharad Pawar, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, MNS president Raj Thackeray and all the major leaders of other parties sit together and discuss, the issue of reservation of the Maratha community can be resolved”, Kondhare added.
