CHANGE OF COMMAND AT BASE REPAIR DEPOT AIR FORCE PUNE
Viman Nagar, 1st January 2022: Air Commodore AP Saraph VSM took over the Command of Base Repair Depot, Pune on 01 January 2022 from Air Commodore KSS Prasad. The ceremony was organized strictly in accordance with the Covid-19 norms.
Air Commodore AP Saraph VSM was commissioned in the Aeronautical Engineering branch of the lndian Air Force in September 1990. The Air Officer did BE in Electronics, and PG in Computer Science from IIT Madras. He is also an alumnus of College of Air Warfare, Secunderabad. In his 30 Years of distinguished service, the Air Officer has held numerous important appointments that include Senior Technical Officer/Chief Engineering Officer of a premier flying base and Director Projects (RM) at Air Headquarters. The Air Officer had also served in a UN Mission in Congo. He has moved on promotion from Software Development Institute Bengaluru to take over command of this Depot. Besides being commended by the Chief of Air Staff, he was awarded Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India for distinguished service.
His wife Mrs. Pranoti Saraph has taken over the responsibility of President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local) BRD AF Pune from Mrs K Srilatha Prasad.
