Pune, 13th November 2023: The minimum temperature in Pune city is gradually decreasing once more, signalling a potential rise in the dew point.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the forecast indicates predominantly clear weather with the likelihood of morning fog in the city and its surrounding areas.

Over the last three to four days, the typical minimum temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius has been on a decline. This drop in minimum temperature has brought a noticeable reduction in warmth. Additionally, 10th November’s rainfall provided some relief from the prevailing heat.

On Sunday, 12th November, the city registered a minimum temperature of 17.7 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 31.8 degrees Celsius.

The ongoing increase in minimum temperature, now reaching three degrees above the average, is anticipated to reverse with a slight cool-down expected.

The conducive conditions for rainfall resulted in sporadic showers across the state. The cloudy and rainy weather is expected to recede, giving way to mainly dry conditions. Meanwhile, the North Maharashtra region may experience a further drop in minimum temperature. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) recorded the lowest temperature in the state on Sunday, 12th November at 16.2 degrees Celsius.
