Pune, 5th November 2021: Colleges in the Maharashtra state have been given an extension to submit online proposals for fixing fee structure for the academic year 2022-23. Colleges can now submit proposals till December 31.

This information was given by the Fees Regulatory Authority through a circular. The non-aided private vocational education institutes in the state were given a deadline of October 31 to submit proposals for fixing the fee structure for the academic year 2022-23.

However, due to the problem caused by the outbreak of Corona, the deadline for submission of proposals for fixing the tariff for 2021-22 was also extended. Also, during the tenure of this previous committee in March 2021, there were difficulties in its work.

After that, the government appointed a new committee on June 18. However, the new committee is working to finalize the pending proposals for the period 2019-20 to 2021-22.

Against this background, it was decided to extend the deadline for online submission of proposals for fixing the fee structure for the academic year 2022-23. Therefore, it has been clarified that now the educational institutions can submit their proposals till October 31.
