Coronavirus: 20-25 Flights Canceled Daily At Pune Airport

Pune, 18th January 2022: The number of corona patients is increasing rapidly in Pune as well as other parts of the country.
Against this backdrop, about 20-25 flights are being cancelled daily at the Pune Airport.
According to officials, the number of passengers is decreasing due to rising corona cases. Therefore, the airlines are cancelling the flights. In particular, the cancellation of flights from Pune airport flying to Delhi and Jaipur is more.
Confirming the information, Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhake told PunekarNews.in, “The number of passengers (both arrival/departure) from 20,000 daily till about a month ago to about 7,000 now. The flights are getting cancelled from origin itself and not from Pune.”
