Coronavirus : 3088 new COVID cases in Pune district, 9251 in Maharashtra today   

Mumbai, July 25, 2020: A total of 7227 patients were discharged and 9251 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 3088 new cases were reported in Pune today. Today, 257 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.65%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 3,66,368 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 2,07,194 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.65%. As of today, there are 1,45, 481 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 56.55% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.65%. Currently, 8,94,509 people are in home quarantine and 44,603 people are in institutional quarantine.

 

Out of 18,36,920 laboratory samples, 3,66,368 have been tested positive (19.94%) for COVID-19 until today.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,336,861 across the country. Out of this, 849,431 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 31,358 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 456,071 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
