Coronavirus: 6281 New Cases In Maharashtra, 40 Deaths

Mumbai, Feb 20, 2021: A total of 2567 patients were discharged and 6281 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 40 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.47%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 20,93,913 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 19,92,530 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.47%. As of today, there are 48,439 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 95.16% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.47%. Currently,2,28,060 people are in home quarantine and 1610 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 1,56,52,742 laboratory samples, 20,93,913 have been tested positive (13.38%) for COVID-19 until today.
