Coronavirus Positive cases reach 934 in Pune district today
Pune, April 23, 2020: As per the latest information, the number of Coronavirus Positive patients has reached 934 till 9 am today, informed Pune district health officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar. There were 772 patients till yesterday 8.30 pm in Pune city, according to Pune municipal corporation (PMC).
Dr Pawar said, “Till 7 pm yesterday, the number of COVID19 patients was 881 in Pune district. There is an increase of 53 Coronavirus positive patients and now the total number of positive patients has reached 934. Out of the total, 59 patients have died while 143 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals.”
Across Maharashtra, the tally of Coronavirus positive cases has reached 5652 which includes 789 cured and 269 dead patients. India’s total number of Coronavirus positive cases increased to 21393 (including 16454 active cases, 4257 cured/ discharged/ migrated and 681 deaths), according to Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, till 8 am today.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 500542 samples from 485172 individuals have been tested as on 23 April 2020, 9 am. 21797 samples have been confirmed positive.
Tele survey through 1921
The Government of India will be conducting a Telephonic Survey calling up citizens on their mobile phones across the country. This is to be carried out by NIC and calls will be coming into mobile phones from the calling number 1921. The public is informed that
