Pune, 9th September 2022: Following the accident and death of the former head of Tata sons Cyrus Mistry and Jehangir Pandole on National Highway No. 48, the Central Institute for Road Transport (CIRT) in Pune has instigated an investigation of the spot.

The CIRT action came a day after the Pune-based institute received a request letter from the Palghar police department seeking assistance and advice about the specific spot on the highway. The CIRT conducts various traffic and road transport-related studies.

We have now forwarded the letter to the concerned officer in the institute to study about the case,” said CIRT director KVRK Prasad.
