Daler Mehndi adds his beat to the India Today Safai Singathon

New Delhi 30th September, 2015 – The India Today Group’s Safaigiri Singathon & Awards launched an awareness campaign in a peppy anthem composed and sung by Daler Mehndi

The lyrics of the Safaigiri anthem not only drive a strong message promoting a cleaner India but also pep up the whole movement with high energy bhangra beats. In the song, Daler adds a touch of patriotism and calls for the use toilets and dustbins.

The music superstar, whose voice and music had millions dancing in the past, will now get them together for a movement towards a Clean India. Daler Mehndi will also be performing on stage during the India Today Safai Singathon scheduled for 2nd October. Along with Daler, the Safai Singathon will have music performances by a lineup of other top musicians. This exclusive event will be covered through 8 hours LIVE across Aaj Tak, India Today Television, Tez and Dilli Aaj Tak.
