“Dancer Couple” Arrested By Pune Police From Surat For Cheating 100 People
Pune, 23rd September 2022: The “Dancer” couple from popular songs have been arrested by the Pune Police in Surat. The couple has a huge fan following on YouTube.
However, since they were running out of money to make a film, they came to Pune and opened a bogus finance company through which they defrauded more than a hundred citizens. Swargate police have handcuffed the estranged couple.
The two arrested have been identified as Dipali Jitendra Paunikar (age 32) and Hemraj Jivanlal Bhavsar (age 28). A case has been registered in Swargate Police Station in this regard. Deepali and Hemraj are originally from Khandesh. They have a huge fan following on YouTube and Instagram. Meanwhile, they have also danced to many hit songs. Meanwhile, they had to make a film, and the shooting needed money. Therefore, Swargate Police has informed, they resorted to cheating.
The duo started a microfinance company, Mandhan, in the Mukundnagar area of Swargate. They said that by giving immediate loans to the citizens coming through it, they would trick them into paying Rs 10,000 first for a loan of Rs one lakh. After that, money was extorted from every comer under the pretext of giving a loan. They have cheated more than a hundred citizens. So far, they have reportedly taken Rs 12.30 lakh from 28 people. After taking money from these citizens, the two locked the finance company and fled. Both were being searched for in this case. This time, the Swargate police found that they were in Gujarat.
Accordingly, under the guidance of Senior Inspector Ashok Indalkar, sub-inspector Ashok Yewle, Taru, Sheikh, Gaikwad, Holkar and their team, the squad raided and nabbed them in Surat. Both were living in a rented room in an SRA building from where they were caught.
