DAY-14: Vidya Valley, The Bishops enter U-12 semis

Pune, 18th November, 2025: Vidya Valley, The Bishops School Camp in the Under-12s along with St. Vincent’s H.S, Loyola H.S in the Under-14s rolled into the last-four of their respective age sections winning their quarterfinals respectively in the Loyola Football Cup 2025, powered by Tata Autocomp, at the Loyola H.S ground, Pashan, here on Monday.

Meanwhile in the Under-16 section, The Kalyani School booked a berth in the semifinals winning against Vidya Bhavan 2-1. The winners, The Kalyani School scored both their goals through a goal in field of play via Abbas Tejwani (27’) and later benefitted from a self-goal scored by Vidya Bhavan’s Mehul Yadav (60’). During regulation time, Vidya Bhavan H.S found the net via Shlok Thanekar (57’).

The Under-12 section, Vidya Valley upset the applecart of traditional heavyweights, St Vincent’s H.S 5-0, while The Bishops School Camp arrested Loyola H.S run 2-0.

For Vidya Valley a brace by Malhar Deshmukh (19’, 40+3’) and a goal each by Adity Diwidi (30’), Ahan Bais (31’), Vivaan Sharma (40+1’) was enough to down St.Vincent’s H.S by a huge margin.

Later, The Bishops School Camp scored twice through Aditya Agharkar (25’) and Vivaan Jadhav (40+1’) to dash the hopes of Loyola H.S 2-0 to make the semifinals.

The Under-14 section had St. Vincent’s H.S avenge their loss in the Under-12 section by winning 5-0 against Vidya Valley. Goals from Joel Cherrian (8’), Samyak Bhandari (13’), Ashton Kale (20’), Ansh Lodha (40’) and Mihir Khevte (50’) completed St.Vincent’s H.S scoreline.

Later, in the Under-14 section host’s Loyola H.S avenged the loss they suffered in the Under-12 section by downing Millennium National School 2-0. Saransh M (9’) and Anisk Malvandkar (41’) netted the goals for the winners.
