Deep Sidhu Arrested: Punjabi Actor Deep Sidhu Arrested For Red Fort Violence On January 26

New Delhi, February 9, 2021: Accused Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu has been arrested in the violent incident on the Red Fort in Delhi on 26 January. Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested Deep Sidhu. He will be produced in court today.
Earlier he had released a video claiming that if he opened his mouth, many faces would be exposed.
Last week, Delhi Police had announced a reward of one lakh rupees for giving a clue about Deep Sidhu. Many teams of Delhi Police were continuously raiding in Haryana and Punjab along with Delhi-NCR. Earlier on Sunday, Sukhdev Singh, another accused in Delhi violence, was arrested from Karnal, Haryana. Delhi Police announced the reward for the arrest of a total of eight accused.
Delhi Police said that the Facebook account of Deep Sidhu is being handled by a female friend of his, who lives abroad. Deep records the video and sends it to her and the female friend uploads it on Facebook.
Who is Deep Sidhu?
Deep Sidhu, who works in Punjabi films, is also a social worker. Deep started his film career with the Punjabi film Ramta Jogi. Born in 1984 in Muktsar district of Punjab, Deep Sidhu studied law. On January 17, the NIA had summoned Sidhu in connection with the case related to Sikh for Justice, but he did not appear.
