Diwali: ST To Run 160 Extra Buses From Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad

Pune, October 29, 2020: Maharshtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has provided extra buses for the convenience of passengers travelling from Pune to their native place for Diwali. This will reduce the amount of effort passengers take to travel by buses in the period of Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

160 additional ST buses will be released daily from Shivajinagar (Wakdewadi), Swargate and Pune stations to various parts of Maharshtra. Overa one thousand special extra rounds have been planned in the state by MSRTC. 160 additional buses from Pune division will run between November 11 and 13. For this, tickets can be reserved from the website of the MSRTC or the mobile app. This year the service will be provided by following all rules and regulations due to the outbreak of Covid, said the Divisional Controller Office.

Bus stand and the places for which buses will ply during Diwali

Shivajinagar: Additional buses will leave for Nashik, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Akola, Amravati, Ambad, Ahmedpur, Ambajogai, Beed, Ausa, Sillod, Ghopda, Dhule, Hingoli, Jalna, Kalamb, Malkapur, Latur, Jamner, Jalgaon, Nanded, Osmanabad, Parli, Parbhani, Partur, Pusad, Shegaon, Tuljapur, Udgir, Umarga, Washim, Yaval, Yavatmal and Buldhana.

Pimpri-Chinchwad: In addition to regular departing buses, extra buses for Kolhapur, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Ganpatipule, Mahad, Dapoli, Latur.

Swargate: Extra buses will run on Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Solapur, Baramati, Bhor routes.
