DoRBit Foundation Sets Up Another Library In A Zilla Parishad School In Pune

Pune, 28th July 2022: The DoRBit foundation successfully achieved the milestone of setting up a library in the Z.P. School, Bhoirwadi, Maan Village in Pune as part of their ‘Your Book’ initiative. This was possible with the help of volunteers of the NGO doing various drives to engage maximum people. These drives were run in the societies to donate old books of any sort to support the cause.

The help of digital campaigns, crowdfunding, and poster circulation inspired many people to contribute by sending books or by ordering books online. With over 1000+books, the library is completely functional now. Various books on the English language, essay writing, and grammar have been included. Equal emphasis is given to Marathi content also.

 

The inauguration of the library was done by Mrs Gargi Singh and Mrs Vijaya. NGO Founder Vipin Mohit Shrivastava thanked all volunteers, donors and school teachers and SMC authorities for their cooperation and support.

 

The library inauguration was attended by school teachers, school management committee members, DoRBit core team members and volunteers Abhilash Shashtri, Nitin Dwivedi, Mandar Salunkhe, Kapil Dev Gaur, Raushan Shrivastava, Ishwar and Impa Roy Shrivastava.

 

DoRBit is an NGO with a large number of IT professionals as volunteers. The NGO plans to launch a library app to reach remote places. The NGO aims to open many such libraries in different government schools and strengthen the education system of the nation.
