DRDO-IRDE vacancies for Carpenter, Draughtsman, Fitter & Other

Govt. of India. Ministry of Defence Instruments Research and Development Establishment (IRDE), Dehradun, Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) Raipur Road, Dehradun – 248008 (Uttarakhand)

Under the provisions of Apprentices Act-1951 Director, Instruments Research & Development Establishment (IRDE) Dehradun invites applications for Apprenticeship Training for a period of one year from the date of Appointment of Apprenticeship) in the following trade:- Carpenter, Draughtsman,  Electroplater, Fitter , Machinist, Moulder, Painter, Turner

Note: 01 vacancy is reserved out of 30 vacancies for th Persons with Disabilities as per Govt. norms.

Requisite Qualification :-a) Candidate should have passed 10th standard or equivalent with science subject under 10+2 education system_ b) In addition they should have passed ITI in relevant trades as mentioned above under NCVT scheme. Applications from candidates, who have appeared in the ITI examination but results of the same is not declared will not be considered. Iii) Age of the apprentice should not be less than 14 years as on 01.072019 and they should not have undergone similar training elsewhere.

Only Online applications will be accepted. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply online on the website of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship http://www.apprenticeship.gov.in    within 15 days from date of publication of advertisement. Candidates are required to submit the acknowledgement of Online Application along with the related documents by post or by hand to the Director, IRDE, Raipur Road, Dehra Dun-248008.

Before selection, candidates have to appear in the written test & interview

As administrative formally, selected candidates have to get their character & antecedents verified before the commencements of training.

Selected candidates are entitled for stipend as per the provisions of Apprentices Act-1951

There is no provision for appointment of the Apprenticeship Trainee in DRDO or in this Laboratory after the completion of training and candidate cannot claim for the same.

Application received after the last date of submission will not be considered.

It is mandatory to have ITI from NCVT in the relevant trade.

Number of posts in the different trades may be changed.

The post applied (Apprenticeship Trainee) should be written on the top of the envelop.

At this stage copies of certificate, Photographs etc. are not to be enclosed.

Filling of above vacancies is subject to approved of competent authority.
