DU Opens Applications for Faculty Recruitment 2023; Know Details

New Delhi, 17th November 2023: Delhi University (DU) has announced an opportunity for individuals seeking teaching positions, inviting applications for professor and associate professor roles. As per the recent update, candidates eligible and interested in these positions can apply through the official website du.ac.in. The application deadline is set for 22nd November 2023, and it’s essential to note that applications submitted after this date will not be considered.

A total of 305 vacancies are available for appointment, comprising 210 associate professor positions and 95 professorial roles. These vacancies span various disciplines such as Chemistry, Commerce, Management Studies, Mathematics, Law, and other subjects.

Candidates applying for the Associate Professor role under UR / OBC / EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 2000. However, SC, ST, and PWBD category applicants and women candidates are exempt from paying any application fees. The payment process is solely online, facilitated through credit/debit card or net banking. The selection process involves the formation of a screening committee, which will rank candidates based on their research scores in descending order, from the highest to the lowest. Subsequently, those shortlisted will undergo an interview round. Candidates selected for screening and called in for interviews must present themselves with original copies of all certificates and a valid photo ID.
