New Delhi, February 16, 2021: While laying the foundation stone of Raja Suheldev memorial in Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “People who once allowed foreign companies to come to India today are creating an atmosphere against domestic companies.”

“They are busy spreading confusion against agricultural laws made in the interest of farmers”, he said, adding that “we have done the work of empowering people in villages under the ownership scheme.”

Apart from this, PM Modi also took a dig at the politics of West Bengal and said that those who sacrificed their lives for the country were not given the place they deserved. Today’s India is correcting the injustice done to those who write history with those who make history. He said that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was the first PM of the ‘Azad Hind’ government. Was his contribution given the importance he deserved? Today, from the Red Fort to the Andaman and Nicobar, we have put his identity in front of the world, PM Modi said.

He further added, “This country knows very well what has been done with Sardar Patel who united more than 500 princely states of the country. Today the world’s largest statue is that of Sardar Patel, who is inspiring us. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the voice of the underprivileged, was also seen only through political spectacles. Today his monuments are being developed from India to England.”
