ECIL Recruitment 2021: Recruitment of 650 technical officers for voting machines, deployment across the country including West Bengal and Assam

New Delhi, February 7, 2021: ECIL Recruitment 2021: Under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, the Public Sector Company Electronics Corporation of India (ECIL) has specially developed EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) and VVPAT (Voter) at various project sites across the country including West Bengal and Assam. Verified Paper Audit Trail has issued advertisements for temporary recruitment for sealing, distribution, polling and commissioning works. According to the recruitment advertisement (No. 08/2021) released by ECIL on 6 February 2021, applications are invited from qualified candidates for a total of 650 vacancies of Technical Officer. The posts of ECIL Technical Officer are to be recruited on contractual basis. The contract period will be six months, during which salary of Rs 23,000 per month will be given. Also, TA/DA, cashless medical insurance and life insurance will be given during election duty.

Interested candidates can apply through the online application form provided on the official website of ECIL, ecil.co.in. The process of online application started on 6th February and candidates will be able to submit their applications online until 15th February 2021.
Who can apply?
As per the recruitment advertisement released by ECIL, candidates who have procured an engineering degree with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university or institute can apply for the post of Technical Officer on agreement basis. Also, candidates should be born after 31 January 1991.
The selection process
Candidates are to be selected on the basis of merit. Candidates will be invited for ‘Document Verification’ and ‘Joining Formality’ as per the merit list made on the basis of marks of their engineering degree. If found qualified in the document verification, the candidates will be declared as finalists.
