Elections: Bapusaheb Pathare Files Candidacy for Vadgaonsheri, Promises Infrastructure Development and Solutions to Local Issues

Yerwada, 28th October 2024: NCP (Sharad Pawar) candidate Bapusaheb Pathare officially filed his candidacy for the Vadgaonsheri Assembly Constituency on Monday. The rally commenced in Kharadigaon and culminated at the Yerawada ward office, drawing a significant turnout of enthusiastic supporters.
During the rally, Pathare addressed the participants, highlighting his commitment to addressing pressing issues in the constituency. “Just as we successfully built essential infrastructure from 2009 to 2014, we will continue to prioritize the development of Vadgaonsheri,” he stated. He pledged to tackle problems such as traffic congestion and water supply issues as part of his campaign agenda. “I am dedicated to the upliftment of every community within our constituency,” he added.
Following the rally, Pathare submitted his application to the Election Returning Officer, Sachin Barwakar.
The event saw a diverse array of political figures in attendance, including Prakashappa Mhaske, Bhimrao Galande, Shiv Sena city chief Sanjay More, former corporator Mahendra Pathare, Rajendra Umap, Surendra Pathare, Nanasaheb Nalavde, and Rahul Shirasath. Representatives from various parties, including the Aam Aadmi Party’s Amit Mhaske, RPI’s Sachin Kharat, and officials and activists from the Congress, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction), Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, and the Republican Party (Sachin Kharat group) were also present, showcasing a united front for the Mahavikas Aghadi coalition.
With the election campaign now in full swing, Pathare aims to capitalize on his past successes to win the confidence of voters in Vadgaonsheri once again.
