Evening Water Supply To Be Suspended Across Pimpri-Chinchwad Today (June 12) Amid Maintenance Work; Low Pressure Expected On June 13
Pimpri-Chinchwad,12th June 2025: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced that water supply across all parts of the city will be suspended on the evening of Thursday, (12th June) due to essential maintenance work. The following morning, on Friday, (13th June) water supply is expected to be irregular and delivered at low pressure.
In an official statement, the PCMC’s Water Supply Department urged residents to store sufficient water in advance and to use it judiciously during the interruption period.
The civic body clarified that routine maintenance of the water supply infrastructure is necessary to ensure long-term efficiency. Structural and electrical maintenance work will be carried out at Sector 23 and other regional distribution points, in addition to upgrades at the Nigdi Water Purification Plant.
Due to this scheduled work, the water supply from the Nigdi treatment facility will be temporarily halted, affecting the overall distribution system. The PCMC has appealed for public cooperation during this period.
