Fed Up Of Police Apathy, Man Sets Himself On Fire Outside Pune Police Commissioner Office
Camp, 18th August 2021: A young man set himself on fire and ran inside the office of the Pune Police Commissioner. The officials prevented him from suicide and rushed him to nearby Sassoon Hospital for treatment.
The incident took place around 11.30 am today. The injured man has been identified as Suresh Vitthal Pingale (34) of Khadki.
According to officials, he suddenly set himself on fire and entered the gate. The on duty policemen put a bedsheet and extinguished the fire. He has been admitted to Sassoon Hospital for treatment.
Officials said that Pingale alleged that police officers of Khadki police station are not working on his case.
