Football: NSCBMC, SNBP Rahatni claim U-17 titles
Pune, 30th June 2025: Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Military School Pulgaon and SNBP International School Rahatni were the centre of attraction in the SNBP Inter School District Level Sports Championship 2025-26 on a rousing note at the SNBP International School Chikali artificial turf, here on Monday
In the Under-17 finals, NSCBMS put an end to SNBP International School Chikali 2-0 to top the section and bag their third title in the football event.
Earlier, NSCBMS won the Under-12 and 14 boys’ titles. In the finals a brace by Joy Ching (8th and 28th) won them the coveted title.
In the only girl’s final, SNBP International School Rahatni downed the Academy School with a brace of goals (2-0). Both goals were scored by Asmi Gole (12th) and Ananya Yadav (12th) to complete the win.
A total of 18 teams took part in the girls section. The Under-17 age group for girls was the only section that comprised of girls teams in the tournament.
