Foreign-Made E-Cigarettes Worth Rs 2.32 Lakh Seized in Bavdhan; One Booked

Bavdhan, 27th October 2025: A stock of foreign-made e-cigarettes worth ₹2.32 lakh, banned by the Government of India, was seized during an operation by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police in Bavdhan on Sunday afternoon.

The raid was conducted around 2:15 p.m. at Shindenagar, Bavdhan. Following the operation, Police Constable Ganesh Babasaheb Karpe from the Anti-Narcotics Cell lodged a complaint at Bavdhan Police Station, leading to the registration of a case against a 25-year-old man.

According to police, the accused had allegedly stored e-cigarettes of various foreign brands for illegal sale at a shop in Bavdhan. Acting on a tip-off, police raided the premises and seized the entire stock.

Further investigation is underway under the supervision of Bavdhan Police.
