Gadkari Again Recommends Sky Buses For Air Connectivity To Curb Traffic Issues In Pune

Pune 12th August 2023: Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Saturday once again recommended introducing sky buses in Pune to curb the traffic jam issue. Sky Buses which according to Gadkari helps to provide air connectivity within the city limits will solve the traffic congestion issue in the city. He was speaking at an inauguration ceremony of Chandni Chowk flyover in the city.

Gadkari also suggested the Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Guardian Minister of Pune Chandrakant Patil to see the presentation of the project and travel in the sky bus once to experience it. He also suggested the use of green hydrogen fuel from waste which according to him will reduce the pollution in the city by almost 40%. Gadkari who is popularly known for his innovative ideas suggested the authorities to use waste to make roads under the Ring Road Project.

Assuring the development of various projects in Pune, Gadkari said that he is ready to build all the flyover needed for the city by spending Rs 50,000 Crore. A proposal of Rs 40,000 Crore for the developmental works to be carried out in Pune has been prepared and two tripple decor flyovers will be constructed under this, he said.
