Going From India To Dubai? Then Know Which Corona Vaccine Will Have To Be Taken And What Are The New Guidelines

New Delhi, 23rd June 2021: Only after taking two doses of the Corona vaccine approved by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can people from India who have a valid residence visa can get entry in Dubai.
Emirates Airlines recently announced that it is now going to start flights from India, South Africa, and Nigeria from 23 June. Relief in travel restrictions has been announced by the government of Dubai.
The UAE closed its doors to travellers from India in April amid the outbreak of the second wave of the Covid pandemic.
Here are the new rules made under the guidelines:-
- Both doses of the UAE-approved vaccine are mandatory for travellers arriving with a valid residential visa.
- In the UAE, Sinopharm, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sputnik V, and Oxford AstraZeneca (COVISHIELD) have been approved.
- All passengers travelling from India to Dubai are required to have a negative RT-PCR test report 48 hours before boarding the flight. Only negative PCR test certificates with QR codes will be accepted.
- All India-bound passengers will have to undergo a rapid PCR test four hours before flying to Dubai.
- The RT-PCR test will be done even after reaching Dubai.
- Passengers arriving there from India will have to remain quarantined till the RT-PCR test report comes. Please note that this report comes in 24 hours.
After 15 months, Terminal 1 of Dubai Airport is being reopened from Thursday. Terminals 2 and 3 were closed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, Dubai’s airport operator expects a large number of passengers to come amid a reduction in coronavirus infections.
