Good start for CMS Falcons, Parshuramians SC, GOG FC, Snigmay Pune FC at Pune District Football Association Super Division league 2026
Pune, 4th March 2026: CMS Falcons, Parshuramians SC, GOG FC, Snigmay Pune FC started their campaign on winning note at the Pune District Football Association Super Division League 2026 which is being organized by Pune District Football Association (PDFA) and played at the Hotfut Bavdhan Football Ground, Ganga Legend.
CMS Falcons A began their campaign in style with a convincing 4-1 victory over Chetak FC A. Saurav Yadav struck early and added another to complete a brace (2’, 14’). Rugved Yeole (42’) and Shibu Sunny (50’) further strengthened the lead. Atharva Shinde (12’) netted the lone goal for Chetak FC A.
Riding on a sensational five-goal haul by Gaurav Swaminathan (5’, 7’, 20’, 39’, 52’), Parshuramians SC A registered a dominant 5-1 win over Deccan XI FC A. Balraj Jagtap (52’) scored the consolation goal.
GOG FC A edged out Indrayani Sports Club in a closely contested 3-2 clash. Satish Hawaldar (10’), Sumit Bhandari (25’) and Rahul Kadlag (38’) were on target for GOG FC A, while Jagath Raj kept Indrayani in the hunt with goals in the 19th and 50th minutes.
Snigmay Pune FC A produced a goal fest, thrashing Diego Juniors FC A 9-1. Mehedi Hassan led the charge with four goals (2’, 7’, 29’, 46’), supported by Sachin Chandel (10’), Shreyash Chougule (14’), Sudeep Surendran (26’), Adarsh Mache (42’) and Abin Augustin (53’). Allan Binoy (15’) scored the solitary goal for Diego Juniors FC A.
The tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Pyarelal Chaudhary, President of PDFA, Mr. Akshay Pyarelal Chaudhary, CEO of PDFA and Mr. Mangesh Shinde were present on the occasion.
