Good Start for Sugar Cane, Harmony Falcons, Jiyo Legends at POONA CLUB FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2026
Pune, 3rd June 2026: Sugar Cane, Harmony Falcons , Jiyo Legends started their campaign on winning note at The Poona Club Football League (PCFL) 2026 got off to a spectacular start on 2nd June 2026, with an exciting opening day featuring competitive football, outstanding individual performances, and an enthusiastic turnout from members and supporters.
The tournament is proudly presented by Mumbai Falcons Racing, with Mr. Ameet Gadhoke as the Title Sponsor. The league was officially inaugurated by Poona Club President Mr. Gaurav Gadhoke, while the tournament is being conducted under the leadership of Tournament Chairman Mr. Tushar Aswani.
A total of 10 matches were played on Day 1, producing 27 goals and setting the stage for a thrilling season ahead.
Day 1 Highlights
* Sugar Cane opened their campaign with a 1-0 win over Palresha Jets.
* Harmony Falcons defeated Advik Parmar All Stars 2-1, courtesy of a brace from Akhlaq Poonawala.
* Jiyo Legends secured a 2-1 victory over Zidan Swivlers, led by a double from Naman Kothari.
* Hotfut edged past A.S.R Strikers 2-1.
* Sugar Cane produced the result of the day, defeating Amado Collective 4-2, with Aarav Sathe scoring all four goals.
* Advik Parmar All Stars and Healyos Eagles shared the spoils in an entertaining 2-2 draw.
* Harmony Falcons and Hotfut played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw.
* Jiyo Legends registered the highest-scoring victory of the day, defeating Amado Collective 5-2, powered by a hat-trick from Kabir Sareen.
