Green fodder for cattles in drought areas

Pune: Ashtbhuja Mata Mitra Mandal Trust, Pune, on Wednesday sent 11,000 kg green fodder for cattles in Ruinalkol village in Ashti taluka of drought hit Beed district in Marathwada region of Maharashtra. The trust has been sending fodders to famers for the last many years.

The first truck carrying fodders was flagged off by Pune city district congress committee president Abhay Chhajed, corporator Dhananjay Jadhav, industrialist Lalitsheth Shingvi, Suresh Kasar, Dhiraj Ghate, Sachin Adekar, Ram Ghadshi, Gajanan Kamble, and Kishore Waghmare. Fodders will be sent to farmers in Solapur district also.
