Hanuman Jayanti: Raj Thackeray Performs Maha Arti In Pune

Pune, 16th May 2022: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray today performed Maha Aarti at Hanuman Mandir at Khalkar Chowk on Kumthekar Road in Pune. A large number of MNS workers were gathered at the temple.
Thackeray has warned the state government that MNS workers will recite Hanuman Chalisa in front of mosques if loudspeakers are not removed from there.
His supporters have put up posters mentioning him as Hindujananayak (leader of Hindus). There was a large crowd at the temple. The whole area was buzzing with drum beats.
During his rally on Gudipadva in Mumbai, Thackeray had warned to recite Hanuman Chalisa in front of mosques if loudspeakers are not removed from there. In his rally in Thane, he had given an ultimatum to the state government till May 3 (Eid) to remove the loudspeakers. Therefore, after Mumbai and Thane, now there is talk in political circles that Raj Thackeray has shifted his front to Pune.
Thackeray is on a two-day tour of Pune. He reached Pune this evening (April 16). After this, he performed Maha Aarti at Khalkar Chowk Hanuman Temple. On Sunday, he will address a press conference at noon.
